Commonly referred to as a trekker’s paradise, Gangotri boasts of some of the most beautiful treks in the region. Treks to Gaumukh and Tapovan are some of the popular destinations.


Photographers will have several opportunities to click stunning images of birds, vegetation, rural life and upper Himalayan peaks. Night photography during clear skies is a usual favourite with our guests.




The Harsil-Dharali belt is a major Apple producing region in the country. During the full bloom season (around late September), you can witness the gorgeous apple tree orchards in the area. The Apple Festival is becoming quite an attraction (usually held in first week of October) where farmers showcase the best harvest of the season.



Uttarakhand is also known as “Dev Bhoomi” or “The Land of the Gods” and Chardhaam is one of the biggest attractions. Gangotri is home to the scared Ganga river and on every Hindu pilgrim’s itinerary. The main temple is closed during winters, but the deity can be visited at the temple at Mukhwa village instead.
